FILESPOT
FileSpot is a search and file organizing utility that makes using a Mac easier. By providing an enhanced interface to Apple's Spotlight search tool, FileSpot expands upon Spotlight's capabilities. By allowing users to create more powerful searches than the basic Spotlight interface, FileSpot improves functionality.
Synthesis has an inherent interest in making complex information visible. We know how important it is to get the information you need when you need it. That is the exact purpose of FileSpot - we took our personal experiences of ransacking our desktops and created FileSpot to put that the past.
Designed not just as a searching tool, FileSpot provides complete control of the search process by letting users tag and preview files, as well as edit labels and comments. All FileSpot searches are automatically sorted according to what was most recently modified, opened, or created; items that were worked on recently will be right at the top of the search results, keeping recently used documents and applications within easy reach.
