As I do teach at NYU’s ITP every Monday, I find myself either in the car or on the Acela on Monday evenings or Tuesday mornings as I make my way back up to Boston. Being fall/winter, however, means that there really isn’t anything to look at while driving up! How to rectify that?

My car has a Lilliput installed in its dash for a while, connected to a in-car PC mounted in the trunk. Conveniently, Synthesis also has a Verizon EV-DO card… Put the two together, connect to my Slingbox at home and stream Prison Break from my TiVo to my dashboard!

(Now, of course, I don’t recommend watching television while driving 75 MPH on the Mass. Pike to Boston — nor do I recommend taking a picture of it all with your phone, and lastly do I not recommend MMSing Ethan to tell him what you’re up to while driving and watching television).
