The projects we undertake are exceptional and distinctive, and we are looking for people who are the same. To work with us, a candidate must be great communicator; we talk a lot at Synthesis, and we need our team to not only take direction, but also give expert feedback.
Proficiency in a low-level language like C and a high-level language like C++ is essential - as is flexibility. It's not unheard of for an engineer to switch from one language to another, or to be asked to quickly learn a new one altogether.
Ideally, new team members also have experience with a number of different operating systems, and have an interesting story to tell. Lastly, we here at Synthesis like to get our hands dirty every once in a while. To really fit in, applicants should too.
